The 11th International Conference on Electromagnetic Interference & Compatibility (INCEMIC 2010) will be held in Bangalore, India from 25-26 November 2010. The Conference will cover the entire scope of electromagnetic compatibility. Prior to the Conference, on 23-24 November 2010 a two day Workshop cum Tutorials on the latest trends in the field of EMI & EMC will be conducted by expert faculty.

Workshop & Tutorials

The aims and objectives of the workshop are to give hands-on practical and design oriented technical know-how to the participants based upon case studies. It will also be a platform where the participants will have an in-depth exposure to the state-of-the art cutting edge technologies designed and developed over the years in EMC technology.

The workshop is designed to give a new dimension so as to implement EMC Techniques in Military and Civilian Systems from the design, development up to the production stages.

Exhibition

A technical exhibition is being organised during the conference. The exhibition of EMI/EMC/RF-Microwave Components, EMI/EMC Test Instrumentation and facilities and analytical electromagnetic tools for EMC design will be one of the major event of INCEMIC 2010. Souvenir

A souvenir containing program schedule, invited articles, abstracts, advertisements, etc. will be published. This will serve as an excellent medium for advertising various products as core competency among high professionals who are key decision makers. Key Note Address: "The Future of EMC Engineering in the 21st Century" by Mark Montrose, IEEE Board of Directors (Division VI Director) on 25th November, 2010 (Thursday)

Mark Montrose is principal consultant and owner of Montrose Compliance Services, Inc., a full service regulatory compliance firm specializing in electromagnetic compatibility and product safety with 30 years of experience in design, test and certification of Information Technology plus Industrial, Scientific and Medical Equipment. He is also an assessed in situ EMC test laboratory for companies seeking to acquire CE approval for Europe.

Mark graduated from California Polytechnic State University with two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Electrical Engineering and the other in Computer Science. He earned the Master of Science Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Santa Clara, also located in California.

Professional active are mainly within the IEEE. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the IEEE as Division VI Director and is an honorary life member of the IEEE EMC Society Board of Directors as a result of his 10 year service as a member of the EMC Society Board. He continues to be a past distinguished lecturer and is also the founder and first President of the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society. 

Mark has authored and presented numerous papers on printed circuit board and system design, theory and layout related to EMC and signal integrity at International EMC Symposiums worldwide. He is also the author of four popular textbooks on EMC specializing on printed circuit board design and testing for EMC compliance.
