Mark Montrose is principal consultant and owner of
Montrose Compliance Services, Inc., a full service regulatory
compliance firm specializing in electromagnetic compatibility and
product safety with 30 years of experience in design, test and
certification of Information Technology plus Industrial, Scientific
and Medical Equipment. He is also an assessed in situ EMC test
laboratory for companies seeking to acquire CE approval for Europe.
Mark graduated from
California Polytechnic State University with two Bachelor of Science
degrees, one in Electrical Engineering and the other in Computer
Science. He earned the Master of Science Degree in Engineering
Management from the University of Santa Clara, also located in
California.
Professional active are mainly within the
IEEE. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the IEEE as
Division VI Director and is an honorary life member of the IEEE EMC
Society Board of Directors as a result of his 10 year service as a
member of the EMC Society Board. He continues to be a past
distinguished lecturer and is also the founder and first President
of the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society.
Mark
has authored and presented numerous papers on printed circuit board
and system design, theory and layout related to EMC and signal
integrity at International EMC Symposiums worldwide. He is also the
author of four popular textbooks on EMC specializing on printed
circuit board design and testing for EMC compliance. |
